The Stable

The equestrian center GARZONERA HORSES YARD ASD is an amateur sports facility recognized and/or affiliated to FISE, ENDAS and C.O.N.I. Founded in the 1960s, it is located in a courtyard in the shape of a horseshoe, with fully equipped stables at ground level and the clubhouse and B&B above.

Located in Sesona, Vergiate, it is easily accessible from the main road and is spread over an area of 14 hectares of woodland in the Ticino Regional Park, ideal for pleasant walks and challenging cross-country trails.

The association stables private horses and has excellent school horses and ponies, with which we are keen to encourage the practical and theoretical knowledge of our student riders, old and new.

We offer instruction in all three of the Olympic disciplines: show jumping, dressage and cross-country.

School Instructors

Advanced riding skills are entrusted to Alessandro Peire (Instructor level III) assisted by Margherita Branca Gargiulo (Instructor level II, An. Pony II level, Tec. Eq. Country I level.). Classes are held during the day and are divided according to the different levels and their respective disciplines.

The Pony Club offers several reliable ponies suitable for riders from 4 to 16 years old who may then move on to the school horses which are dedicated to adults. Riding lessons are held every afternoon with the opportunity to improve in both beginner to intermediate riding skills in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Advanced levels and competitive opportunities are encouraged using our school horses on half and full loan.

The center regularly participates in horse shows and organizes intensive clinics to help riders to achieve their full potential.
We also take part in various local, social events to bring equitation and people closer.

SCHOOL TRIPS AND SUMMER CAMPS

The Center welcomes schools on half and full day trips where pupils can participate in a typical day in a horse yard and learn new skills by taking part in special workshops that permit pupils to approach the horse world safely. The Association also offers courses in orienteering and outdoor pursuits through our partner Young Survival.
For full immersion in the world of horses the wonderful opportunity of summer camps is the perfect way to live and breathe horses for a week from Monday to Friday. Learn to care for your horse 360° and sleep overnight in our comfortable B&B.
